Both of us
together
yet alone…
my hands ache
to reach out to you
somehow I don't…
Love fills me
to the brim
I let the surplus
spill over alien ground…

I fail
to touch you
my love…
even though so much
I want to…
Love makes me
want to speak
Love also
seals my lips…

My soul aches
to be seen
to be felt
to be known
but for fear of rejection
it cringes back
stays in a dark corner
of my being…

I see you there
waiting for "me"
to come and reach out
to you…
I feel myself
crying out
to accept you
in my life…

Some unknown fear
holds me back
each time
my soul
I wanna bare to you…
