Happy Fool's Day

(On April Fool)

If ‘Have a good day’ flows daily from lips,
‘Fool’s day, once a year from hearty wits.

A day to crack jokes, make all fools
Get drowned in humour’s pool.
The day observes the holy innocence-
Trick of friends and the egos of boss
Nonsense of children, and the folly young
All caught  in hugs, blown with gleeing.

April 1, a day of Persian new year flavour
First day of a finanancial year,
For France, Italy, Scotland, and France
World over it’s a day of trick and April fish.

The Foundation Day of new Odisha
The day of humour and good wishes
The joy of being fooled, and fooling a lot
Life and feat all a joke to concoct.

The sun of wit rises on April one
Throwing the golden light of fun
To lead April Fools, the angels of humour
All along from heaven for holy laughter.
