All These Stars

All these stars in your sky
They shine through my entire being
Your whole world has rushed in
And dissolved in me
All the flowers of your garden
Have blossomed in my limbs.
Mingling in my heart
All the joys have been sweetened by a scent.
Along with me
They burn in your temple like sweet incense.
Today I see none around
Nor do I hear any sound
Only a universal breath I find
I am breathing in my breast
Like a flute’s sweet tune.

Translation of the devotional song - Aji jato tara tabo akashe/sabe mor pran bhori prakashe - by Rabindranath Tagore. Best recording of this song is by Debabrata Biswas.

The original, along with its swaralipi or notaion, is at http://www.rabindra-rachanabali.nltr.org/node/3817
