I sit in silence filled with thought
Wondering what should be
My missive to the one that uses
Words so 'sparingly'

She is petite, I am tall
And loving as can be
Living lonely miles away
Fighting destiny

It’s nice to know she’s out often
Loves travel and romance
Would’ve been so much fun
With her if I had a chance

I still am in perfect shape
And hold an agile mind
Music, poetry and compassion
And not an axe to grind

Neither lean nor very tall
A striking mellow gait
Halfway up life’s ladder
It’s still not very late

Seeking just a caring touch
To end a busy day
It could be from East or West
It could be from far away

She shall get a gentle hug
And a loving glance
A caring touch can offer much
To leave one in a trance

May her sons and their progeny
Live life to the hilt
She could escape sometime too
To refurbish what she’s built

Patience is a virtue
A potion for the mind
With faith and love for company
I hold her memories behind

There is hope till there is life
Trust she shall keep in touch
There’s someone herein waiting
Not asking for too much !

	This is really nice --- Things left for pesterity are often discovered and apreciated much after you are gone --- May your writings suffer the same fate!!!!! and may someone empathise and feel with you as they read it!!!!
