Mosquitoes - Ambassadars of Sanity

Long long ago a saint lived in a wood
Birds, beasts moved freely around
Saint knew life divine hence to be loved
All bowed before his love profound.

A mosquito came for saint’s advice
When wild beasts leave your flesh
How can I suck your vessels?
How can I live without blood?

Saint adored pony mosquito’s concern
Suck my blood I give you permission
Blood is your staple food I learn
How can I neglect your need genuine?

Mosquitoes swarmed onto saint’s body
Every evening hundreds turned greedy
Of The saint‘s blood, making him reedy
One day he wished to die for remedy.

Mosquitoes rallied to ask his final desire
As tribute to that great soul’s retire
The saint thus struggled to deliver
Sucked my blood, suck humans for ever

So long as the rich sucking the poor,
The leaders kill the rustic farmer
So long as slums float in decayed water
Municipals cry in vain for a clean river

Be an immortal ambassador of sanity
Your presence to awaken a municipality
No coils, no smoke can devour your purity
Live to preach clarity and parity.
