Another Breathtaking Day

  Another breathtaking day got written
In the page of my life’s novel;
You were looking absolutely great
In those sunglasses and the white shirt.
My eyes saw you after eleven long days.
Till then they just couldn’t rest in peace.
The film was excellent depicting
How deep friendship can change into love,
How love knows no boundary of age,
How suddenly we realize who means most to us!
Loved to see it with you, my closest friend.
The ride in the metro after a long time,
My fear of going through the escalator
As a result holding your hand reliably;
Then Peter Cat’s sizzlers and KFC’s crushers
Added to the enjoyment.
But your company was most pleasing
And nothing else really mattered.
While returning home my eyes moistened
Thinking of being parted for the time being.
Now again I am eagerly awaiting our next meeting.
Ever wondered how our lives would have been
If we hadn’t been best friends!
Can’t imagine life without your friendship
For it is what made me a complete woman.
