Don’t You Know Why?

  You asked me why did I cry,
Don’t you know why?
Neither you called nor did you text,
You don’t know when you’ll come next,
Still you expect me to be glad?
Don’t I feel bad?

You asked me why did I cry,
Don’t you know why?
You don’t realize how much I miss you,
You don’t feel what I am going through;
Still you think I will be joyful
And remain super cool?
You cancelled your meet up with me next week,
Still you assume my mood on a high peak?
You said you are too busy to take breaths,
For who have I spun these love wreaths?

You asked me why did I cry,
Don’t you know why?
You didn’t come online, stayed aloof,
Besides at my laments you did spoof;
Still you think I will not react?
Love isn’t any business pact!
You asked me why did I cry,
Don’t you know why?
