Wish We Could

You like birds, don’t you?
Well I love them too,
Wish we could be like them,
And together we flew.

Wish we could cross the sky
And returning to our nest
Cover ourselves with our wings
And give each other our best.

Wish we could stay side by side
And play with our beaks,
Quench what our heart wants-
The love that our souls seek.

Poem Comment Rupradha, this is perhaps the best love poem I have read on this site. You have, dear friend, made my day. May you see the sky ever blue and the lotus pool with only two new flowers swing to touch and tease other! I loved your poem, dear poet...
