Subhajit currently works as a Professor of an engineering college based in Greater Noida. He did his B. Tech & M. Tech in Comp. Sc. from Jadavpur University, and his Ph.D. from Tezpur University. He has worked in the North Eastern Hill University (Shillong), a Central University for several years where he combined teaching with system administration. Besides he has taught at a few other places. Currently his son Amartya's antics & mischief graph his existence like a Gaussian curve... He has interest in good literature and films. Cinema remained a lifelong passion for him. Drawn to unconventional and thought-provoking works, he developed a particular fondness for auteurs such as Mrinal Sen, Michelangelo Antonioni, Yasujirō Ozu, and Jacques Tati, among others.
